Walk around Campo de’Fiori

Just 2 minutes’ walk by La Casa the Conte you will discover one of the jewels of Rome, the Campo de’Fiori square. This square in the morning is a bustling marketplace (Monday to Saturday from 7am to 1.30pm) and a nightlife trendy meeting place with bars and restaurants. Just few steps from Campo de Fiori you will admire in a small piazza the magnificent Renaissance Farnese Palace. Along Via dei Giubbonari, a shopping Street, you will come to the Jewish Quarter. Via Portico d’Ottavia is the heart of the Jewish Quarter and tourists and Romans, often come here to enjoy the atmosphere and the history of the Jewish cuisine (there are kosher groceries, bakeries, and restaurants). At the end of the Portico d’Ottavia street start the path that will take you across the archaeological remains of the Teatro Marcello from where you can easily reach the Campidoglio’s hill and admire, after many steps, the basilica of Santa Maria in Ara Coeli.
